James Ambrose Ucin says that the ministry is carrying out awareness through radio and posters.
He adds the government still awaits resources from partners for mass awareness programs in the country.
Director Ucin explains the Rapid Response Team or RRT is well trained on handling suspected cases of corona.
He mentions that the health center for covid-19 cases in Wau is not randomly chosen but as a recommendation from specialists.
James Ambrose points out that soon posters and use of loud microphones advising people on precautionary measures against COVID-19 will be available to public.
Earlier last week the ministry announced carrying out awareness to people in markets and residential using posters and loud microphones.
The official spoke to Voice of Hope on Monday at his office in Wau.
