Chairperson of Transport Union in Wau, Western Bahr el Ghazal State James Philip Ogok requested all the commercial bus drivers and boda-boda riders to put into practice the preventive measures for their passengers’ safety.
It is everyone’s responsibility to ensure the safety for all against the pandemic corona virus.
Philip urged the drivers to systematize with the passengers inside the commercial means of transportation.
The chairman urged commercial drivers to avoid overcrowding buses as it is unsafe for the health of people.
He added that, it is compulsory for anyone to put into practice preventive measures to prevent themselves by also avoiding physical contact.
The chairperson of Transport Union in the state made the remarks to Voice of Hope Radio on Wednesday in Wau.
