Police spokesperson captain Elijah Mabor Makuach says two people were shot in separate armed robbery in Rumbek.
He adds one person was killed at Monyieng Patiir while attempting to loot goats and the other was killed at Mabor-tit raiding cattle.
Captain Makuach also mentions that a herd man was shot dead between Maper and Tonj East while moving with his cattle to Rumbek.
The officer appeals to young people to engage themselves in doing manual work instead of resorting to robbery.
He advises youth to be peace agents at their different communities.
On Sunday March 22nd, another road robbery occurred between Mvolo and Domulato, where drivers were looted and money equivalent to two hundred thousand South Sudanese pounds, and five mobile phones were taken.
Cattle raiding and daytime robbery have become common due to availability of unauthorized guns in the civilian’s hand.
