‘No confirmed case of corona virus in South Sudan’ Ministry of Health clarifies

South Sudan Ministry of Health clarifies that there is no confirmed case of covid-19 in the country.
 
Earlier rumours has been circulating on social media that a woman in Yei tested positive to corona virus.
 
Speaking to CRN the chief of operation on COVID-19 at the Public Health Emergency operation centre Dr. Angelo Goup Thon in Juba reassures citizens that the suspected in Yei tested negative to the disease.
 
Dr. Angelo appeals to the general public to report any suspected case to the health ministry by calling the emergency numbers 6666.
 
He adds people should follow the preventive measures by the ministry and World Health Organization
 
So far the government has suspended all international flights from landing and leaving the country. 
 
There is no confirmed case of COVID 19 in South Sudan although all its neighboring countries have confirmed the presence of the virus in their countries.
