Catholic Bishop of Yei Erkolano Lodu Tombe is emphasizing of the need to be careful with the issue of corona virus despite the fact that South Sudan is free.
He urged citizens to avoid carelessness as some neighboring countries including Uganda have announced confirmed cases.
Bishop Lodu explained that coronavirus is an air bone disease which can affect people especially with contact or toughing.
The Catholic Bishop advised citizens to take the instructions given to them seriously because they are important for the health of individuals.
He said sometimes natural disasters and situations can cause fear and panic in the minds and hearts of the people.
Bishop Lodu encouraged the faithful to take care of one another, families and communities and trust in God because He is in charge and protection of the people.
The catholic prelate was giving his message to the Christians at Christ the King Cathedral on Sunday in Yei.
