Riak Dor Secondary School in Rumbek got low turned up of students for registration for the academic year 2020 due to poor performance in last national senior exams, said, Ruben Majak Nhial acting deputy headmaster.

He said South Sudan Secondary Exams Results released last week discouraged many students to register in their school in, Good News Radio reported.

School Headmaster Joseph Makuer Mateny said the economic hardship of the country has also contributed to the reasons why students are not coming for registration.

He added that some students are scared by the previous results, which made them think they can also fail.

Riak Dor Secondary School was among the worst performing schools in national examination results released earlier last month in the defunct Western Lakes State.
