HARD organization with funding from CORAID organization conducts energy saving stoves exhibition in three markets of Jou, Hajer and Wau to reduce deforestation in the state.
HARD representative Steward Dominic Uchalla, said the saving stoves are made up of elements that do not require many charcoals.
He mentioned that the stoves are handmade equipment made by the women in UN camps and Alelchok in order to control the use of firewood.
Dominic encouraged people to replace any tree they cut down by planting three trees.
Energy saving stoves exhibition commenced on Tuesday and expected to end on Wednesday but people will continue to have chance of buying them from the markets and their office in Hai Daraja.
The speaker made the remarks to Voice of Hope Radio on Wednesday at Jou Market during the exhibition.
