The incoming Archbishop of Juba Stephen Ameyu Martin is going to do the will of God, Fr Lawrence Lodu Kose told Christians.

He while delivering his homily during the feast of St Joseph the spouse of Blessed Virgin Mary on Thursday in Juba, said the new archbishop will follow the doctrines of the Catholic Church.

Fr Lodu advised the faithful not to be afraid that negative may take place in the catholic Archdiocese of Juba.

The priest asked the people not to worry, but celebrate the feast with love, care and humility of the universal Catholic Church.

He clarified that Canon Law is guiding the whole Catholic Church in running its institutions.

Fr Lodu earlier appealed to Christians to emulate St Joseph who was doing the will of God by allowing himself to be directed by the angel of God in dream to take Mary as his wife.

Fr Lawrence Lodu Kose was one of the priests who protested the appointment of Archbishop Stephen Ameyu in December.
