An official at Torit civic engagement center usher committee is calling for South Sudanese to promote and embrace their national identity.
During a round table discussion chairperson of the committee Ohoro Leo says people need to show a sense of nationalism rather than identifying themselves along tribal line.
The facilitator of the discussion Ochan Dominic admits that although people live together, they do not identify themselves as South Sudanese.
Meanwhile a member of parliament Hon. Ochan John encourages participants to promote togetherness at family levels.
The round table discussion for the promotion of national identity brought together 40 participants from government officials, community leaders, youths and community based organization.
