Pharmacist of Malith market in Tonj Chris Athian Samuel urged restaurant owners and tea sellers to maintain hygiene and sanitation in the town.

He advised tea sellers and restaurant workers to wash their plates very well with soaps and cover their heads while serving food to people, Don Bosco Radio reported.

He also added that restaurant workers should also take a key role in washing their cloths while giving food to customers to avoid contracting diseases.

A tea seller in Malith Market, Rebecca Akuel, accepted that maintenance of hygiene is very essential for better public health.

She called upon her work mates to take lead in cleaning their places frequently for the health of customers.

Another tea worker, Achut Mathiec said it is very important to always keep work places tidy to prevent flies.
