Pope confirms Stephen Ameyu new Archbishop of Juba, Vatican announces

Pope Francis confirmed that Bishop Stephen Ameyu Martin Mulla as the new Archbishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba, announced Monsignor Visvaldas Kulbokas on behalf of the Congregation of the Evangelization of Peoples in Vatican.
 
He appreciated Emeritus Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro for his long services in the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba and El Obeid Diocese.
 
Monsignor Kulbokas disclosed that he has formed a committee from priests of the Archdiocese headed by Episcopal Vicar of Clergy and Religious Fr Nicholas Kiri to organize the installation of the new Archbishop.
 
The representative of the Congregation of the Evangelization of Peoples to Juba said he will supervise the preparation of the installation of Archbishop Stephen Ameyu Martin Mulla.
 
Monsignor Kulbokas on behalf of the Congregation of the Evangelization of Peoples announced that the Vatican has fixed Sunday March 22, 2020 as the date for installing the new Archbishop of Juba.
 
He called on all Christians to pray for the beautiful transformation of the Metropolitan seat of Archdiocese of Juba.
 
The announcement was made at the Vatican Apostolic Nunciasture in Juba, South Sudan on Friday.
