The Catholic prelate explains that across the country, there are still a lot of problems including torture of civilians.
He prays that the forces will be friendly to civilians and provide protection to them.
‘Let us be given rest from torture, intimidation, robbery and rape of women and the government should avoid mistreatment of people because it is time for peace’, the Bishop pleads.
He warned head of the army that civilians should be left free because they are created in the image of God.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu was giving his message on Sunday at Christ the King Cathedral in Yei.
