Bangladeshi Battalion Three on Wednesday conducted veterinary medical campaign at Hai Jadid residential area of Wau town, targeting all kinds of animals.
Contingent Commander of Bangladesh Battalion Three said animals are very important and must be healthy to ensure the health of the human beings.
He pledged that they will continue to support Wau communities with veterinary services.
Director-General in the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources, Edward Lino, appreciated the support render by Bangladesh Battalion Three to the ministry.
He urged them to continue supporting the local population in Wau.
The campaign is a one day exercise targeting goats, sheep and cows of Hai Jadid in Wau town.
