Training on Constitutional consultation process ends in Torit

The Civil Society Network in Eastern Equatoria on Thursday concluded two-day training on Constitutional consultation process in Torit.
 
The course was to equip participants on how to conduct consultative discussions on constitutional making process for the resolutions of conflict in South Sudan, Radio Emmanuel reported.
 
Participants have been drawn from civil society groups, youth, elders, members of parliament amongst others.
 
Training facilitator Koma Vens encouraged the participants to share information with community members for a better result.
 
Meanwhile, Severino Maira James, who participated in the meeting appreciated the program and that the knowledge they acquired in the training will help them accomplish their work.
 
He called on citizens to join hands and work for a common goal 
 
Another participant, Flora Sebit Jada, thanked the organizers for the initiative, saying she is now knowledgeable on procedures of the constitutional making process.
 
She appealed to the organizers to identify competent people who will be able participate in the drafting of the constitution at the national level.
 
The speakers made their remarks to Radio Emmanuel on Thursday at the end of the consultative training in Torit.
