Chairperson of Former Tonj State Youth Union Marko Mawien Monydhar expressed his gratitude for the wise decision President Salva Kiir took to revert South Sudan to ten states.
He said abolishing 32 states will bring peace although there is a pain in the community, Don Bosco Radio reported.
Mawien assured the government that youth will support in the implementation of revitalized deal.
Mawien said if the ten ten states will bring peace to South Sudan, youth are ready to stand firm behind the government since they suffered for over 21 years of war in the country.
Akot Mabior Yar, one of the youth in Tonj, said the division of the states in 2015, brought discrimination among people.
He added that he is comfortable with the decision President Kiir Mayardit made.
Chol Sam Jiel said ten states will restore peace and dialogue in South Sudan, urging his fellow youth to unite and avoid turning to war been misled by wrong politicians.
The speakers expressed their views on Friday after President Kiir reverted 32 states to ten.
