Director for Secondary Schools in Lakes State Ministry of Education David Machar Karkon called on government to motivate teachers to keep them working for the welfare of the country.
He on Thursday requested the ministry of education to increase teachers’ salaries to encourage them to teach well, Good News Radio reported.
Macher said some teaching staffs have abandoned their profession for organizations due to low payment in government sectors.
The director advises teachers not to focus a lot on income, but on the progress of their motherland.
