Initiative for Peace Communication Association or IPCA is launching a countrywide peace, forgiveness and reconciliation campaign in the context of the implementation of the Revitalized Peace Agreement.
The Association said in a statement CRN got that this campaign is titled work for peace South Sudan is under theme: ‘forgiveness and reconciliation is fundamental to a sustainable peace’.
The campaign that begins from 20th February 2020 to 19th February 2021 will target youth, women, community and local authority leaders, faith-based groups and other leaders with influence in their communities.
Key activities for the event will include media outreach, dialogue forums, public lectures, festivals, theater and networking with peacemakers across communities.
This campaign will immensely contribute to the national dialogue, the implementation of the Revitalized Peace Agreement and other local peace initiatives.
