Sudan People Liberation Movement/Army-In Opposition, division 6-A Major General has declared their defection to join the ruling government.
According to Voice of Hope Radio Joseph Daniel Arop says the reason for their defection to the government is because their leader is not solving their issues fairly.
He explains their decision is intended to avoid conflicts and support government in implementing the peace accord.
General Arop reveals that, whoever violates the law by shooting gun or any other means is accountable because they are for peace, unity and stability in the country.
He expresses his joy about the decision made by the president of reversing the 10 states and committing to peace in the country.
The Major General made the statements on Tuesday after their declaration to join the government in Wau.
