The Christian organization known Greater Nuba Action Coalition is holding a three-day international conference in Kauda, Nuba Mountains.
Coalition Coordinator John Jefferson told Voice of Peace Radio on Monday, that the sixth conference, under the theme’ ‘Breaking the Chains’, will start on Tuesday and end on Thursday.
70 individuals representing faith-based NGOs and churches are expected to attend the symposium, he disclosed.
He said all Nuba communities will benefit from projects and programs of coalition and different organizations throughout in the region, Jefferson explained.
The coordinator also explained that all churches and coalitions will gather together to support the positive growth of Nuba people and communities in this time of war and oppression, Jefferson said.
He stressed that it is the mission of Coalition to utilize the holistic ministries and discipleship training to address both the physical and spiritual needs of Nuba people.
Over 25 international guests are anticipated to take part in the conference.
Greater Nuba Action Coalition has worked on projects to bring food, medicine and educational materials to support the people of Nuba, particularly in Kao-Nyaro, one of the remote areas of the Nuba Mountains region.
