Bongo Basic School leads Tonj in primary eight exams’ results

Bongo Primary School led the top ten students in Tonj State primary eight national exams of 2019/2020, announced, Santino Deng Madut, Minister of General Education and Instruction.
 
Don Bosco Radio quoted him declaring that John Akot occupied the first position with 459 marks and James Mayom followed with 455 marks.
 
The minister said Arop Maleet Agei of Ayak-Akat Primary School took the third position with 454 marks.
 
Deng said the number of candidates who registered for the exams was 1,495, 1412 sat and 83 candidates missed with unknown reason.
 
The minister explained that the candidates have not performed well this year compared to 2017, 2018 and 2019.
 
The minister appealed to headmasters of various schools in Tonj State not to allow pupils who are not performing well in primary seven to go to primary eight to avoid bad performance across the state and country at large.
 
He urged the incoming candidates to double their efforts for better performance in 2020/2021 exams.
