Caritas Luxembourg urges Ayachi communities to embrace teamwork

Head of Mission for Foundation Caritas Luxembourg in South Sudan Francois Nzabahimana on Wednesday urged farmers and entire community of Ayachi County to cooperate in order to sustain their projects in the area.
 
He said there is need for the Parish, communities and Caritas Luxembourg to work together to manage and build new projects, share problems and outline solutions to challenges facing them.
 
The head encouraged farmers and cooperatives in Palotaka to use the remaining days of the workshop to develop new strategies for the sustainability of the project.
 
He stressed on the need to embrace proper communication and take better decisions together.
 
Project Manager of the Catholic Diocese of Torit, Fr Martin Vuni applauded Foundation Caritas Luxembourg for managing projects in the diocese.
 
He said Foundation Caritas Luxembourg is a valued partner of the Catholic Diocese of Torit as it represents what he terms as ‘the face of international solidarity’.
 
Fr Vuni encouraged communities of Palotaka in particular and Ayachi County in general to acknowledge the support of Foundation Caritas Luxembourg in the area.
 
Foundation Caritas Luxembourg has been supporting farmers in Palotaka since 2014 with capacity building and seed distribution among other services.
 
The speakers made the remarks during the closure of the first day of consultative workshop organized by Foundation Caritas Luxembourg in Ayachi County on the sustainability of agricultural and nutrition projects in the area.
