The government of Torit thanked the government of Netherland for supporting roads construction in the state.
Radio Emmanuel quoted Governor Tobiolo Alberio Oromo speaking in simple Arabic while briefing citizens during the launch of Torit Magwi-Road saying the support comes in the right time where citizens needs it.
He called on the local population to maintain roads and its security to ease movement of goods and services to people at grassroots.
Governor Alberio urged Torit communities to commit themselves to maintaining peace and security in the state so as to attain more support.
He directed community leaders to take lead in maintaining roads to ease service delivery.
Last week Torit authorities launched the construction of Torit-Magwi road with funding from Netherland and supervised by state government.
