The Committee for Miss Wau beauty and Talent show and the state Ministry of Gender, Child and Social Welfare donated some non food items to over 19 women in Wau central Prison on Monday.
The pioneer for Miss Wau Beauty and Talent show, John Wakil says the items included 19 bed sheets, 19 washing soaps and 2 pads each.
Wau Central Prison Director, Peter Madut Barjok appreciates the committee for supporting the women.
The Minister of Gender Child and Social Welfare Christina Gabriel Ali advises the prisoners to have hope because they are not abandoned in their societies.
