Governor of Gbudue State Daniel Badagbu Rimbasa called upon all chiefs in the area to join hands together and work as a team.
He said the chiefs need to be empowered, trained and motivated since they are the people on the grass root level.
The governor spoke to the chiefs from three districts during a two-day workshop organized by UNDP.
Badagbu who is also the SPLM chairman in Gbudue State urged parents to embrace education by sending their children to school.
The governor made the remarks at Sakure County when he was launching SPLM office on Wednesday.
