Authorities in Western Lakes State on Friday dispatched 147 police officers for training in Wau as part of unified force.
During the departure, Acting Police Commissioner Alpayo Majak Ador said they have sent off 147 police personnel for training as part of the implementation of peace agreement.
This force was selected from different counties of Western State and a big number of police are waiting for transport, Majak said.
Early this week, the government mentioned lack of transport from Rumbek to Wau affecting it up to now and more than 100 organized forces are still stranded in Rumbek.
