United Nation Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS Wau branch trained Police service on very important persons’ protection, public order and security managements.
According to Voice of Hope Radio, UN police officer, Balanda Dako, said the training targeted 50 polices personnel in the first day and fifty in the second day.
Dako said the aim of the training is to build up Police to have strong capacity in Protecting national VIPs and international diplomatic visitors.
UN Police Representative said UNMISS would help the South Sudan National Police services in many things like capacity building, sharing of knowledge.
The officer asked the participants to practice the knowledge the have gained to make change in the communities for batter security.
The UN officers made the remarks during the closing day of the training at the Ministry of Education on Tuesday.
