Wau State Police on Tuesday concluded five-day workshop on their role in protecting officials, civilians and their property.
Police Commissioner Representative, Khalifa Mamur Fataki said their role is to work according to the law and constitution of the country.
Mamur urged citizens to cooperate with the police to reduce crimes in the area by reporting illegal activities happening in the area.
Police officers appreciated their commissioner and UN for instructing them on how to protect people in the state.
The workshop which started last week and ended on Tuesday was funded by UN Police and it brought together about 50 policemen.
