The South African Deputy President David Mabuza arrived in Juba on Monday for consultative meeting on the outstanding issues in the Revitalized Peace Accord, said Media Liaison Officer Matshepo Seedat.
She noted that the Special Envoy to South Sudan will meet with the signatories to the agreement to resolve the number of states and boundaries hopefully.
The Deputy President is expected to be in Juba for four days to discuss proposals for taking revitalized peace agreement forward.
According to the IGAD written schedule, the official will meet the two principals on Tuesday and Wednesday, and other stakeholders and parties, on Friday with members of diplomatic corps to provide the latest update on the outcomes of the peace implementation process.
The Opposition Leader Dr Riek Machar is also expected in Juba on Tuesday for four days, according to the SPLM-IO spokesman Manawa Peter.
