Police says three young girls between the age of eleven and twelve years were reportedly raped at Akuac Village of Rumbek Town.
The girls were sent to collect firewood when the armed men raped them on gun point.
Police Spokesman Captain Elijah Mabor Makuac says investigation on the case is still ongoing.
He adds one of the survivors reported to the police and she was later taken to the hospital for treatment.
However the officer regrets that the other two girls did not report to the police or to the hospital for check-up.
Captain Mabor urges community members to stop hiding rape cases from police.
Last week, a 35 year old raped an eleven year old girl in a cattle camp and it was reported to the police.
