The Ministry of Gender Child and Social Welfare in Yei River in collaboration with women organization is organizing one-day workshop on trauma healing for females in the state for sustainable awareness.
The training targets all women associations in counties including Lainya, Kajo-Keji Morobo, Yei and Mother’s Union of the Episcopal Diocese of Yei, Radio Easter reports.
Other associations are: Catholic Women, Dinka Women Association Tokori Women Association Nuba Women Association Women for Women and Women Alliance Organization.
The workshop that brought together 43 women aims at training and equipping women with knowledge, sensitize and heal the citizens who underwent a lot of trauma due to conflict in the area.
The training which was organized by the Ministry of Gender in partnership with Women Alliance Organization was held on Saturday at the State Transitional Legislative Assembly in Yei.
