Western Lakes Police says some parts of the state experience insecurity incidence of road ambushes along Rumbek East Road on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day.
Police spokesperson Captain Elijah Mabor says four commercial vehicles were attacked on Friday along Juba – Rumbek road at Eastern and Western Bhar Naam counties.
He adds two passengers sustained gunshot wounds and they were rushed to Adol Primary Health Care Center for treatment.
The spokesperson mentions that SSPDF soldier was alleged to be drank committed suicide in Pacong on Wednesday.
Captain Mabor spoke to Good News Radio while giving overview on state of security situation in Rumbek on Thursday.
