A priest at the Catholic Diocese of Yei encourages children to respect their parents in order to live a longer life.
Fr. Sebastian Pololo Enock explains that when children respect their parents they live longer, make their parents happy and get blessings.
He mentions that when kids are brought up well, they prosper in life and their parents are appreciated for bringing them up in exemplary manner in the society.
The priest urges young people to be of good example that can be emulated by others.
He adds they should make good decisions while choosing their marriage partners.
Fr. Pololo advises young people not to hurry into marriage but focus on their education and the rest shall follow.
The Catholic prelate was preaching during the feast of holy family on Sunday at Christ the King Cathedral in Yei.
