The newly elected Archbishop of Juba Bishop Stephen Ameyu Martin Mulla says polygamy is a sin before God since it divides love in marriage.
He says polygamy reflects no love for the last wife Radio Emmanuel reports.
‘We live everyday of our life especially for those who are married who had women unfortunately we have very many women sometimes some of us are polygamous so in that way the love is divided one for the other woman and then the other ones until the love is becoming very thin so my dear there is no love so the last woman will say that no am not love by my husband’, he indicates.
The Catholic prelate urges couples to maintain their love for one another in marriage life.
‘We would like to be love forever and ever our love for women or if you are married your love for your wife is forever and ever so what make that marriage forever and ever is always the love of God that renews people’ he explains.
The Archbishop-elect reminds Christians that God is always present and loves everyone even though in difficult situation.
‘God is with us God love us so much that He would not like us to be alone He has created us so that we will remain with Him forever and ever. but what happen sometimes our life is full of problems, it looks like God sometimes leaves us alone in times of distress but we know that God is always with us’, he notes.
