‘Tonj north is relatively calm’, says, minister

Tonj State Minister of Information, Culture, Youth and Sports told Don Bosco Radio that Tonj north is relatively calm following the recent clash.
 
According to William Wol Mayom the government has sent forces to the area to stop the communities’ conflict in order to minimize loss of lives.
 
The minster adds casualties were reported and six people were arrested including chiefs for fuelling the conflict.
 
He points out that the perpetrators are in police custody pending investigation into the cause of the clash.
 
Minister Wol stresses that the government wants peaceful coexistence and unity among citizens.
 
The minister encourages the community members to work together for peace the reign in greater Tonj North.
 
The minister was speaking to Don Bosco Radio in Tonj.
