Kiir, Riek agree on security arrangements and freedom of media

President Salva Kiir and Opposition Leader Dr Riek Machar agreed on security arrangement to train the unified forces and integrate them within the hundred days’ extension.
 
Dr Riek Machar on his first official remarks at the State House says they agreed on timely deployment of forces within the 100-day extension.
 
Dr Machar adds the forces will be sent to the training centres within two weeks.
 
‘The two principals agreed on political space and freedom of press to ease dissemination of the Revitalised Peace Agreement and movements of people’, Dr Riek discloses.
 
The opposition leader mentions that they decided to declare political space to improve situation and to bring peace.
 
Meanwhile Salva Kiir Mayardit says they will establish Special Reconstruction Fund or SRF within the a hundred days extension according to chapter three in the Revitalised Peace Agreement.
 
The cessation of hostilities will continue to hold because no one is interested to return to war, the president adds.
 
The Sudan Sovereign Council Deputy Chief, Lieutenant General, Mohammad Hamdan Daglo, says that the two principles should know that South Sudanese are seeking for peace.
 
The peace guarantors confirm that the forces will be trained and integrated and the fund will be established within the implementation process.
 
The signatories to the agreement did not make any progress in the number of states and boundaries.
They are waiting for the South Africa Vice President to resolve the issue within coming period of the implementation processes.
