South Sudan Media Authority on Wednesday conducted a three-day workshop to media houses and stakeholders in Rumbek, Western Lakes State.
Director-General for Information Sapana Abui explains that the training is to create good relationship between the media outlets and the government in the state, Good News Radio reports.
Abui encourages media houses and stakeholders to cooperate in disseminating peace messages in the community for peace to prevail in the country.
Western Lakes Minister of Information Laat Mathou says media is an instrument that disseminates government and public information.
The three-day workshop jointly by Journalists for Human Rights and Media Authority brought together over 50 participants from different institutions and is expected to end on Friday.
