A prison warden in Wulu Rumbek State is detained for sexually abusing a four-year-old boy in Gumba village.
According to Wulu chief inspector of police Machar Maker, the perpetrator Manyang Madona Morgeny is currently under police custody pending further investigation, Good News Radio reports.
The chief inspector explains that Manyang had visited the family of the little boy and was warmly received by the mother before the incident.
Inspector Maker is not sure if the culprit has mental issues that made him to commit such act.
Director of Wulu County health department Manyiel Morgeny says the four year old is in stable condition but he sustains some wounds in his anus.
The child has been transferred to Rumbek state hospital for further medical care.
The incident occurred on 29 November 2019 when the mother of the boy was out of the house.
