Radio Emmanuel staffs are receiving a four days in-house training to orient them with basic journalism skills and radio programming.
The Vicar General of Torit diocese Fr. John Sebit advises journalist to commit themselves to the training and use the knowledge to serve their community.
Fr Sebit says the role of journalists and counsellors are similar because both help bring hope for people.
While the director of the radio Fr. Santino Lounoi Stephen says the training aimed at refreshing the skills of staff and its orientating to the new members.
Fr Lounoi says every journalist need skills in order to work professionally.
The four days training supported is by MANOS UNIDAS focuses on production of peace building programs and other journalistic skills.
