United Nations Development Program or UNDP in collaboration with the state government has organized one day training to strengthen businessmen and create job opportunities to youth in Western Lakes.
Deputy Governor of Western Lakes State, Stephen Mathiang Deng, says the training aims at empowering youth on business.
He points out that many young people are jobless.
Deputy town Mayor, Simon Waiwai attributes increased crime cases to lack of jobs.
He encourages youth to participate actively in business to end criminal activities.
Waiwai urges the young ones to stop violence and rebuild their nation.
He appeals to them to stop looting traders and citizens’ property.
