Ministry of Gender, Child and Social Welfare in collaboration with Women Association in Wau State lays the foundation stone of Women center at Eastern Bank.
Chairperson for Women Association, Bahaja Mohammed Alamin, expresses her gratitude to the Norwegians Church Aid or NCA for establishing the centre.
She adds the centre is of great importance to the women of Eastern Bank and it will helps in capacity building.
Minister Christina Gabriel Ali, says that the main purpose for establishing this centre is to provide activities concerning women.
She adds the centre will enable women to discuss issues facing them and they should take good care of it.
Last week the Ministry also laid foundation stone of Women centre at Bushere County.
