Wau Catholic Diocese Legion of Mary group started prayers and fasting for peace and reconciliation among leaders of South Sudan.
The Legion’s Chairperson Victorina Baptist Abakar says they are praying for the 100 days to bring lasting peace in the country.
She encourages people to pray for peace to prevail and spirit of forgiveness, peaceful co-existence among citizens.
The chairperson reminded South Sudanese that it is everyone’s responsibility to promote a peaceful community.
Victorina appeals to leaders to discuss the outstanding issues in order to bring peace and unity among South Sudanese.
