The Association of Media Development in South Sudan or AMDISS conducts two days training to journalists of Voice of Hope radio on Peace Journalism.
Deputy Secretary for AMDISS, Juma Peter, says it is very important to report about peace instead of ambushes, fighting, killing and violence that happens in the country.
Peter adds every journalist has a great role to play in peace dissemination in South Sudan.
He appeals to journalists to portray the positive image of the country to the world.
Station manager for Voice of Hope radio, Batista Ilario Kaima, says they gained new skills and will put the knowledge into practice.
He urges journalists to play their role on peace building in the state.
