Measles cases still identified in Tonj hospital, says minister

Minister of Health in Tonj State Abak Yel Madoot told Don Bosco Radio that there are still some Measle cases being identified in Tonj Civil Hospital after campaign was done last month.
 
She confirms that there still cases of measles because some children did not get vaccinations in the state.
 
The Minister explains that the signs and symptoms of the measles include itching and reddish eyes.
 
Yel urges communities in Tonj State to take good care of their children.
 
‘If your child did not get vaccination, there is still a chance to bring your child to hospital for injection in order to prevent your child against measles’, she notes.
 
The minister spoke to Don Bosco Radio on Thursday in Tonj.
