Peace in the Sudan means tranquility in South Sudan, says Antony Lino Makana, Speaker of the Transitional National Legislature Assembly.

He during opening the second session of parliament on Tuesday urged the international community and other peace partners to support peace in the Sudan.

Speaker Lino said MPs want President Kiir’s government to increase salaries of the organized forces and the civil servants.

He urged Minister of Transport, Roads and Bridges to follow directives of the president on the construction Luri and Juba Bridges.

President Salva Kiir appreciated the Chinese government for expanding Juba Teaching Hospital from 100 to 360 beds.

He urged ministry of health to train work force and manage the equipment in new wards.

President Kiir earlier declared that peace is the only option in South Sudan and will not go back to war.
