Volunteer working for Torit Red Cross Leiri Thomas advised the local population to keep its hygiene and sanitation to prevent diseases.
According to, on Thursday when South Sudan Red Cross Torit branch, the volunteer told citizens to keep their surroundings clean and always wash hands.
He stressed that the local population have to dig pit latrines and avoid open defecation.
Janet Lakony Karlo, Director of South Sudan Red Cross Torit Branch explained that her office have trained thirty-seven volunteers on e epidemic control.
Continuous flooding in the state and other parts of the country has blocked humanitarian from delivering health service to the grassroots, she noted.
