National Ministry of Education conducted a regional training on out of school mapping to teachers from Greater Bahr El Ghazal region in Wau State.
Undersecretary in the Ministry of General Education Kuyok Abol Kuyok says South Sudan has been experiencing considerable growth in education since the signing of CPA in 2005.
He quoted 2018 report of UNESCO that over two million children in South Sudan are out of school that is why the ministry organized the training to teachers to do assessment in their states.
Abol says those children out of schools are in rural areas and that the ministry and its partners are working hard to ensure that all children go to school.
The training brought together all director-generals, field managers, numerators from within the states in greater Bahr el Ghazal region.
