Police in Western Lakes State are interrogating three people over the death of a one year old child who died of electric sock on Monday in one of the local restaurants known as Ngap-cok opposite Wulu round-about.
In an exclusive interview with Good News Radio, Police Investigator Sergeant Zachariah Madit Maper Doot reveals that the child, identified as Adut Magang Marial, died due to bad electric connection to the refrigerator.
Maper says they were investigating the mother, restaurant owner, and the electrician to explain what happened to the child..
Maper assures people that, they are not suspecting any person within the team but trying to identify circumstances that led to the death of the child.
The Police officer urges the relatives to stay calm for investigation to go smoothly.
Maper made the remarks to Good News Radio at the main police station on Thursday in Rumbek.
