Red Cross Torit wins national first aid competition

South Sudan Red Cross volunteers in Torit were on Tuesday awarded a trophy for winning national first aid competition in Juba.
 
This is the third time South Sudan Red Cross Torit branch is winning the trophy in three consecutive years since 2017 in Juba
 
James Bidal, a volunteer who participated in the competition, says Torit Red Cross scored 97 percent to win the contest.
 
Anna Guarta, another volunteer of South Sudan Red Cross Torit branch says she is happy to win the trophy amidst several challenges.
 
Director of South Sudan Red Cross Torit Branch Janet Lakony Karlo appreciates her team for winning the trophy in three consecutive years.
 
She advises her volunteers to commit themselves to practice and maintain winning in the next coming competition.
 
South Sudan Red Cross since 2015 organizes annual national first aid competition drawing participants from the ten former states.
