Pray for South Sudan’s leaders to implement the peace pact signed in September 2018 to end conflict, St Teresa Parish Priest Reverend Augustine Ekeno asked Christians on Sunday.

Good News radio quoted the priest saying ‘as the November 12 deadline for forming a unity government approaches, there is need to stand with our leaders as they decide on what to do to our country’.

‘we cannot have a peaceful country, if we are not supporting peace as one people’, he added.

‘When one person fills he/she is powerful than the other, we cannot progress. Let us treat each other as equal as God’s children’, he appealed.

The priest spoke on Sunday at St Teresa Parish of the Catholic Diocese of Rumbek.
