Blockers working in Rumbek, Western Lakes State complain that they have gone three months now without offloading any commercial trucks with goods in Rumbek Market, making life difficult for them to sustain their families.

Potters Union Association leader Chol Maker blames heavy rainfall and poor roads in South Sudan.

He told Good News Radio in Dinka on Wednesday that they are over 200 blockers in Rumbek who defend only on offloading trucks.

Maker appeals to the state government to consider their cry and improve something, pointing out that some of the members are currently involved in harmful practices like theft because they lack a job to do.

The potters were speaking to Good News Radio in their office in Rumbek market.
